Synergia Ranch – Santa Fe, New Mexico
The Place
Synergia Ranch is located in the high desert south of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Rustic in nature, and rich in history, the ranch is set on 111 acres dotted with cactus, pinion and juniper trees. The heart of the property includes xeriscape perennial beds, a producing apple orchard, other fruit trees, and farm-to-market vegetable gardens.
Just off the Turquoise Trail (NM highway 14), Synergia Ranch is 45 minutes north of the Albuquerque airport and 30 minutes south the historic Santa Fe Plaza.
The People
Synergia Ranch is home to a small intentional community of cultural creatives in the fields of engineering, ecology, permaculture, fine arts, theater, and the healing arts. Residents include the original inventors, designers, and managers of the Biosphere 2 Project in Oracle, Arizona.
Synergia Ranch is also the home of Synergetic Press, an independent publishing house specializing in ecology, sustainability, consciousness, and anthropology. In early 2022 Synergetic Press released Psyche Unbound: Essays in Honor of Stan Grof.

Airports / Ground Transportation
Guests flying into New Mexico can consider either the Albuquerque Airport (ABQ) or the much smaller Santa Fe Airport (SAF). Synergia Ranch is approximately 50 minutes north of ABQ and 30 minutes southeast of SAF.
Ground transportation from either airport could include car rental (perhaps shared between several participants) or a combination of airport shuttles and UBER.
Please see the Synergia Ranch website for detailed driving directions.
Off-Site Lodging Options
We encourage onsite lodging for reasons of safety and community experience but recognize Synergia lodging is limited. There are several options for off-site lodging including the nearby Rancho Gallina – Santa Fe Inn and Eco-Retreat and various Airbnb hosts. Non-residential guests will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements and bookings.
Internet Access / Cell Reception
Cell phone reception is widely available. Internet connectivity is limited to the common area around the dining hall – but not in the adobe bedrooms.
Food Service / Dietary Issues
Margaret Augustine, the talented and versatile resident chef will be serving our group. Margaret and her staff can accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions including vegetarian and vegan.
The Synergia dining hall includes a self-service coffee and tea station as well as a full-sized refrigerator for guest use.

About Santa Fe
High altitude (7,000 feet above sea level) in the Santa Fe area means air is thinner and it can take individuals about 48 hours to adjust.
Bottle drinking water will be available in several locations.
Please see the Synergia Ranch website for more information and images of the ranch including sleeping spaces, dining hall, shared showerhouse, etc. Our workspace will be the Dolphin Dance Studio – a 1500 square foot room with a wooden floor adjacent to the North Plaza rooms.
